HI.

I am enroling for the level 1 of CFA . Its not at all diffucult to pursue CFA provided you are in the CA final and doing your articleship. Dont thing about it if you are pursuing PE2.
You will also have to fill up form 112 of ICAI requesting permission for the same.
Do write if you get some more information

FIRST OF ALL I MUST APPRECIATE YOUR IDEA OF PURSUING CFA US COURSE. AS U KNOW THIS COURSE IS REGARDED AS THE BEST ONE IN THE FIELD OF INVESTMENT MNGT ALL OVER THE WORLD.
IT WOULD SERIOUSLY ADD VALUE TOGETHER WITH CA. I M ALSO WILLING TO ENROLL FOR THE LEVEL 1 EXAM TO BE HELD ON JUNE 2007 SINCE I M PASSIONATE ABOUT STOCK MARKETS & INVESTMENT MNGT.

THE TOTAL COST OF THE COURSE INCLUDING ALL STUDY NOTES ETC. IS AROUND 3 LACS.
HOWEVER, THE COST CAN BE REDUCED BY FORMIN GROUP OF ITERESTED PEOPLE PUSRSUING THE SAME BY SHARIN STUDY NOTES. THE METHOD OF SHARIN IS MOST COMMON PREVALENT AMONGST STUDENT IN ORDER TO REDUCE THE COST.
