The Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has decided to launch this certificate course considering increasing incidence of cyber crimes and the emerging practice of Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection to enable members to offer value added services in this emerging area. This course aims at providing the necessary education and professional training to enable Chartered Accountants to use CAATs/ GAS/ Data Mining and other computer tools to access damages, uncover frauds, analyse financial evidence and communicate findings.
