Cenvat credit on input service

Hi Friends,

My client carries 2 independent business 1 of Clearing & Forwarding Service & other is trading under the same proprietory concern. My queries is that whether he can utilize service tax paid on input services used for trading purpose against the Service Tax liability arising from Clearing & Forwarding Service.
