Can cenvat credit of previous year can be taken in the current year?

Cenvat credit can avail up to six month.

Yes, cenvat credit can be taken any time, after 3 or 4 years. But refund claim u/s 11B has to be filed within one year from the relevant date.

The normal time within which it is recommended to avail credit is 1 year. However statutarily there is no time limit for credit availment. You can avail the pr yr credit in this month.
