Can we claim service tax input credit by submitting the xerox copy of the original bill?

Yes. We can submit a xerox copy of the invoice. Many times, we may not get a II copy of invoice. In those cases, the only recourse is to file a xerox copy.

XEROX COPY AUTHNETICATED BY ISSUER/SERVICE PROVIDER CAN BE ACCEPTED
