Hi
I want to know the information on cenvat credit.,
I am going for audit of a client(Pulp & Paper Mills) who comes under central excise.So how shall i ensure that he has complied with excise act,cenvat and excise rule? I wnt to know what are the things and documents that i will have to check and veify?
How to take cenvat credit,utilisation,returns,challans and everything.

Excise has its own set of records,
DSA(RG1) for production and clearance, where u can get duty liability arised and paid
PLA, for duty payment through cash ( GAR7/TR5)
RG23A-Part2 for cenvat credit taken on inputs and paid on clearances
RG23C-Part2 for cenvat credit taken on capital goods and paid on clearances
for gross liability and credit availed, check ER1( monthly return)
25 Hours GST Scrutiny of Return and Notice Handling(With Recording)
Survey, Search and Seizure under Income Tax Act 1961
