Dear Friends,
If a trader imports the electronic components and sells it to the local manufacturer. There is no manufacturing activity from the trader. In this case can trader pass on the CENVAT benefit to his customer who is local manufacturer ?. Is there any rules to be followed in this ?.

You need to get registered as delaer under Central excise. Once you get the registration you can issue delaer invoice for passing on the cenvat credit.
