cenvat credit available only on CVD and edu cess on such CVD
I have heard that we can claim CENVAT over SAD/AVD also... correct me if i am wrong
in case of SAD u need to take care of certain points:- 1. manufacturer can only take cenvat credit of SAD. 2. other importers can take refund of SAD. this refund is made only after u have paid SAD on import and VAT/CST on sale of such imported goods.
i have never heard of the term AVD. if by AVD u mean additional duty on customs then it is known as CVD. and i have already told u that u can take credit of CVD
Thnx. Kindly elaborate the SAD component as i dnt knw about it in detail. AND kindly also tell what are the components presend in customduty
