what is meant by centralised banking?

I think what u refer is CBS. It is termed as Core Banking Solution and also often termed as Centralsied Banking Solution.
If a bank is CBS then its customers can transact from any of its branches in India. U can withdraw cash, deposit cash cheque & everything in any of the branches of the india. Previously the accountholder did not have such facility and he has to transact essentially in the branch where his account was maintained. Also with the help of CBS it is possible for the Head Office, Regional Office etc to view the transactions, business & conduct of any branches from their workplace itself.
