Dear Mr.Jaya Prakash,
Under 8/2003 C.E every assessee manufacturing excisable goods having turnover upto 1.5cr can claim SSI exemption.
While claiming this exemption no cenvat credit shall be allowed to avail as there will be no output liability also.
However, reaching to 90 lakh turnover from excisable goods, you may file declaration to Central Excise department of your unit juridiction.
If you wish not to avail this benefit, you may register under central excise and pay excise duty and also your eligibel to claim cenvat benefit.
So, it is advisable in this regard that you may need to do little cost benefit analysis.
