i want to know about what are my obligations under central excise like filing of returns etc.
You have to maintain daily production reports, maintain daily stock register,isssue tax invoices for clearances of goods from the factory. If you are availing SSI exemption you will have to pay duty on quarterly basis and file quarterly returnsin form ER3.
