Celling limit for registration
dear all
is there any celling limit of turnover for excise reg ? till 1.5 cr there is no excise duty liability being a small scale industry. so it is compulsory to tk excise reg before turnover exceeds 1.5 cr ?

Registration is not compulsory if the turnover is within the limit specified (150 lacs). However, when the turnover exceeds 90 lacs, declaration to this effect has to be submitted to central excise authorities.
