Dear Students,

ICAI has revised all CA final modules in the month of December 2011 / January 2012.

PLEASE confirm from ICAI BOS department; whether these changes are applicable for May'2012 attempt.

I have observed that few CCI memebers have communicated with BOS and confirmed that such changes are applicable from Nov'2012 attempt.

Kindly update yourself with authentic source. i.e. ICAI

Regarding the applicability of the AMENDED MODULE ISSUED IN DEC 2011/JAN 2012, I HAD SENT A QUERY TO BOS AND GOT THE FOLLOWING REPLY:

"Dear Student In Dec-2011/Jan-2012 edition of ISCA, major revisions are carried out in chapter 2 and 5 in SM to make the content more relevant, exhaustive, practical, and useful. In PM, a new section entitled 'Questions based on the case studies' have been added t

o provide an idea to solve case study based questions in the examination. Please note that there is no change in the syllabus.

Moreover, the revised edition is not applicable for May, 2012 exam; it will be applicable from Nov, 2012 onwards..
