What are the legal formalities to start a catering business (other tha the usual firm registration) ?
Is there any permission from state/central food authorities ? This is in Kerala State.

Yes, you have obtain necessary info. & appln. form etc. from office of the local Food Inspector .
You shall have to obtain licenses from Department of food and Supply, health, sanitation, police, municipality etc.
