In Cash Flow Statement's presentation, is Direct Method reqd. from exam point of view? or preparing for Indirect Method as prescribed by AS3 is sufficient?

We should be familiar with both the methods but as per my ref. to many suggested answers of the istitute if question doesn't mention the method to be used while solving the answer then institute suggested have been solved the answer with direct method of AS-3 I think we should follow the intitute suggested or not?

As you can see the greats have given their verdict and it's true. prepare for both the methods to score well in exams.

Read both method , sometimes questions have specific instruction to solve by particular method.
