While conducting the cash vouching in the internal audit of hospital I found that many cash vouchers from 1/4 to 15/4 is supported by bills of P.Y. 2013-14 I just want to know whether this expenses is allowed in this year i.e. F.Y. 2014-15 or it should be of 13-14?? Thanks In advance.
If Hospital consider accrual basis of accounting then it will be claimed in 13-14 otherwise it will be claimed in 2014-15 on cash basis of accounting.
