I want to re-affirm whether there is any seperate tax rate for contractors who are investing in equity of a construction company?
I have two contradictory opinions
1. for contractors it is 2(two)%
2. it is 10(ten)%
No.
Its same for all investors.
10% for long term capital gain u/s. 112A of IT act..
While for short term its 15%... u/s. 111A of the act
