I made a sale of shares after 31/01/2018, which is in the nature of long term capital gains,is budget 2018 amendment will be applicable for this transaction .

& Yes, if sold on or after 01.04.2018.........
2018 Budget amendments are applicable for Financial year 2018-19 's transactions, and events
if is that case ,then relaxation given to share holders up to 31/01/2018.
Relaxation given to shareholder upto 31/03/2018
it is applicable for sale made after 01/04/2018
it is applicable for sale made after 01/04/2018
it's w.e.f 01/04/2018
