A person is having a business income of 25lakhs and having a loss of 10 lakhs in long term capital gains(shares)-can it be set off with business income and pay tax for 15 lakhs?

If it is long term capital loss by transaction of shares with STT paid.......... it cannot be adjusted against any income.......
