If Mr. A gets ancestral land from his forefathers & Cost of Acquition & Date to acquisition are not available(which is acquired by his forefathers).
In year 2020, Mr. A gets registration of such land in his name & paid stamp duty.
In such case, what will be Indexed cost of Acquition & Indexed cost of improvement?
Cost of acquisition shall be FMV as on 01.04.2001 ( if property sold before 31st March 2020 )
Cost of acquisition shall be FMV as on 01.04.2001 subject to maximum of assessable value for stamp duty purposes aa on 01.04.2001 ( if property sold after 31st March 2020 )
