A flat was purchased in Aug 2015and registry was done in April 2018 and the same was sold in may 2018..will it be STCG or LTCG?

if agreement or Allotment letter of 08/15 is there then covered only u/Ltcg pl

it will be ltcg as date of allotment is considered as date of acquisition

If any token money was paid on thr agreement date(or any agreement was made) i.e.. in 2015 then you can claim the benefit of LTCG
