Agriculture land located near Ahmedabad AUDA limit i.e. 4km away. Will it sell attract capital gain. How indexatation calculated?

if it is situated in a rural area with less than 10000 population then no capital gains tax. if in urban area then tax would arise. indexation will be calculated by multiplying the cost with the index of the year in which the land is sold and divided by the index in which the land is purchased
