one of our client is running canteen business. providing packed food packets to industries on daily basis.
he issues invoices in monthly basis total qty of food.
what is the rate of tax to be charged?
can he avail ITC on his inputs?
please confirm. thanks in advance.

No he cannot claim ITC (As per notification 46/2017 CT)
And , the you cannot raise Bill on monthly basis, you have to Raise the Bill on daily basis as the goods (Food) supplied (As per section 31 CGST Act)

As per notification 46/2017 CT, Its 5% without ITC.
