If cancelled then how to you paid excess tax?
Firstly he paid taxes as per invoice and later on he cancelled that invoice... Automatically corrected when you file gstr1 and you get surplus itc

Hmmm rightly said @ Raja sir.... People are following these practices... Till then e way bill not came in force
Actually the matter is. We have generated invoice and paid tax in the month of August, now in next month we came to know that the material movement has not happened due to some technical issues.
Hence we have to cancel the invoice. Any provision is there regarding the said query
File gstr1 correctly now... And in subsequent month gstr3b you pay less tax what has been earlier paid in excess
Dear Mr. Ritesh Valand.,
You ll just prepare "CREDIT NOTE". It's very simple and no need cancel the Sales Invoices...

Don't be worry about GSTR 2 and 3 for the FY 17-18...
