dear sir

one of firm's gst registration want to cancel. kindly brief the procedure to cancel GST registration please

First file all pending returns

Then apply for cancellation from registration tab.

After receiving order of cancellation file gstr-10 final return to complete the procedure

Log in to www.gst.gov.in then / service tab / then Application for Cancellation of registration . fill up the application and submit .

Filing of pending returns and discharging of previous dues is mandatory.

you can apply for cancellation from the gst portal.
you will also have to prepare a stock statement. the itc on such unsold stock will have to be repaid.
