My Turnover in PY exceed 20 lakh now I m getting registered in this year just only to file ITR. After registration and filing of ITR, I want to cancel my registration( to avoid GST procedure) in current year only and my turnover will be less than 20 lakh.
Can I cancell registration just after registration even though I have taxable supply in this year not exceeding 20 lakh?

rule 20 form No GST reg 16 but not before the expiry of one year I. voluntary registration

if you took voluntary registration u can not apply to Cancle it till one year

In terms of Section 24 read with Section 22, following persons are required to be compulsorily registered under CGST Act:
Every supplier shall be liable to be registered under the CGST Act in the State from where he makes a taxable supply of goods and/or services if his aggregate turnover in a financial year exceeds Rs. 20 lakh. However, in respect of Special Category States, the aforesaid threshold registration limit has been reduced to Rs. 10 lakhs.

Special Category States under GST :- As per Explanation (3) of Section 22 of CGST act 2017 , ” special category States ” shall mean the States as specified in sub-clause (g) of clause (4) of article 279A of the Constitution. List of which is as follows : –
Arunachal Pradesh
Assam
Jammu & Kashmir
Manipur
Meghalaya
Mizoram
Nagaland
Sikkim
Tripura
Himachal Pradesh
Uttarakhand

My case is not covered as you have give answer above...I told my turnover exceed 20 lakh...it's not a case of voluntary registration...please read query carefully...
