Cancellation Of GSTIN in case of threshold change for registration?

Is the amendment for change in threshold from 20 lakhs to 40 lakhs for registration for getting GSTin lead to cancellation of the GSTin for the assesses who are already registered for 20 lakhs limit but having there turnover now below 40 lakhs?

they can apply for cancellation of registration if they are coming in that criteia.... w.e.f 01/04/2019

thank you sir.....then it means that they don't have to fill their return for NIL anymore?....since they are cancelling their GSTin

if you want you can voluntarily continue with your registration in that case you need to declare exact turnover, if there is...
threshold increase does not mean below that you should file nil return.... no.... apply for cancellation if you don't want to continue.......

Yes, once registration is taken and active
you have to show outward supply even if it's just for Rs. 10 and pay GST on same.
However you can voluntary apply for cancellation.
