Cancellation of GST Registration

Can a company cancel its GST Registration if,

The company has winded up its plant or closed and Rented its Machinery to other company.

Now after closure the company has to raise only a Outward Invoice for Rental of Machinery every month.

The amount of Annual Invoices is less than GST Threshold limit of Registration.

If you want a closure of company, first of all some points are important in view of GST.

1. you must sale all material , stock, plant and and machinery before winding up your company and pay GST on it all. otherwise after apply of your closure in GST raise a demand , interest and penality on it .

2. you please clear / pay your all interest , late fee. and other dues to GST officials before closure of GST registration.

3. prior to GST Registration cancellation you must apply in any other govt agency like closure letter give to Bses / factory license Dept / epf and esic etc. fornproofnof closure of your company.
