I too have the same one, but I have the 12 digit version, thats good, but since you say that they have stopped mfg the old ones, go for some other model which is 12 digit

buy 12 digits calci....usualy they do not check it depends on the examination centre & supervisor

go for 12 digit ....
because my calci was even questioned as it was little different from other's calci ...
even though I was able to convince that it has no special feature for which it's use need to be prohibited...
so if u ever face any such situation it will waste your 5-7 minutes ....and you already know the cost of every minute in exam hall.

Yeah, actually i don't have a problem in buying a new one except my exams are near and i might not be able to get used to new calcy till the time exams will start.. i can use the old calcy well enough since its 1 1/2 year old .. lol

Absolutely.. I have read the same like 1 year ago from now.. but i thought maybe ICAI has made any amendment and they did not change it.. hehe

Honestly i don't think they'll ever notice.. new calcy has nothing new except the number of digits.. no new feature/ function as well.. thank you for ur response.. :)

Thank you for ur response.. I will see if i can find a same calcy.. if i can't find i'll make sure to talk to supervizor 5-7 minutes before we get our exam papers(for reading) ...
