Can we take 3 month leave for examination?

if u r  writing Ca Final for the very first time 3 months leave is permissble n even Big 4 give for 3 months..but if u  r writing for the second time even small firm might not give u for more than 15 days..Emploer can not deny for leave for atleast 3 months..even many firms give leave for 4-5 months..One advise use the leave to the most apporiate way..3 months would be enough for both groups..

Permissible is 1/6th days of actual period serve..maximum of 180 days..minimum 2 months shall be given..example;if u have served fo r420 days-then,2 months or 70 days which ever less shall be given..suppose if u've not served even for 360 days even 2 months is not possible..hope u got my point.........means u can not do anything legally against Principal coz 2 months comes as decreation..but i've not seen any case who denide leave even less than 3 months....request ur prinipal that after exam u'll work even on holidays !!

I am a CA Final Student belongs to gwalior, my 3 years of articleship will going to be completing on 18/01/2011. Till date i have taken total of 160 days leave.Now when i will fill Form no 108, then if i written 160 days leave in above form, then my articleship will be extends for some days or not. (we all know very well that 1/6 th or 180 days whichever is more will be allowed by ICAI).

it seem u have taken more leave befor applying  3months leave. If not , then take a training guide and point our to ur boss with green,red or any highligher of ur choice the statement of Institue wereby Institure itself has said that  a PE2 student can take 156days leave(5months) and PCC 180days leave(6months) "During the entire tenure of articleship". It seems u  have already taken more thn 90 days leave.

Hey Umashankar..theres nothing Rules n Regualtion..coz if u worked hard,made repo,worked for ur principal as n when required even excess leave can be ignored if principal wants..otherwise if he's very strict u can not do anything..if u r PCC students it might be okay..but not for PE 2 students..this is the world of CA when articles can not take excess leave but prcaticing CAs can make histories like Satyam,GTB Bank etc..only powerful can do some adjustments..latest is 2G scam :)
