I want to ask you that can we get exemption on the amount we invest in Mutual fund.
I know that income we earned is exempt under section 10(34). But can we get exemption on the amount which we have invested in a particular year ?

yes we can get exemption only if we invest in ELSS schemes of Mutual funds for example Birla sun life tax relief 96 fund.
in these type of funds lock in period of 3yrs is there.
