02 October 2008While the files are being imported from tally from versions 6.3 to 7.2 to excel some cells will be in the text format, which cannot be utilized for calcuation. Is there any way to convert this text numbers to number formats.

when u open the text files in excel and selected the fields, select the same with the format as numbers
