07 December 2010Can Professional fees paid in respect of CG allowable?
I have an query that whether PMS charges pd to Portfolio Service Provider for serving me the Portfolio Services be allowed as a deduction from Short Term Capital Gain for the A Y 2008-09........???? Is there any case law is there regarding the same.......??

No i don't think so it will be allowed.
But, if you show the shares transaction as trading activity/ Business, then it shall be allowable as business expenditure.
