There is a partnership firm and have GSTIN, now they want to start new bussiness with differnt trade name, can GST registration be done with same PAN of partnership firm or they have to apply for new PAN. The partners of the firms are same.

no, they need to for a new PAN n PARTNERSHIP DRED
legal name of entity can not be change because it is on pan basis but trade name can be change. further one entity can't have multiple pan. my opinion it can start the business with same pan and can change trade name.
Sir if they execute new partnership deed then how could be legal name and trade name be different as both are partnership firm and on which name the bank account will be operated
you told about different business not different partnership. if partnership deed will be new then offcourse new pan will be apply.
