We received notice for Fy 2018-19 that as per the details provided by higher authorities you have availed ineligible ITC of 40,54, 443, from retrospectively
cancelled taxpayers.
Can department issue such type of notices without providing any information of suppliers.Can concern GST officer deny the claim of ITC after 3-5 years of availment.
Notices for 2017-18 & 2018-19 are valid since time is calculated from the date of submission of annual return.
There contention may be invalid for denial of ITC. Depends on fact of the case. Can take benefit of judgments of various High Courts
