Can i opt GST Composition Scheme

A Halwai or mithai wala with selling of sweets, branded and un branded snacks can opt GST Composition Number or go with regular number ?

if your annual turnover is 1cr or less than, then u can apply for composition scheme

under which tax rate 1% , 5% or 6% ?

as per amendment Act 31 of 2018 it's 1.5 crore & effective from 1/2/2019, by Notification .2/2019. CT

Yes you can opt for Composition Scheme u/s 10 of the CGST Act 2017 provided that your Aggregate Turnover does not exceeds Rs. 1.5 crore.
