Yes, U can file ur IT Return by filling the ITR 1.

Yes, he can file return upto 31st March, 2009 in ITR-1

Anyone can file the return with one year from the end of A/Y so he can file the return ti 31st march 2010. as per sec .139(4)

yes u can file return up to 31st March 2009
But careful abt two things
If any tax is required to be paid, 1% per month is interest amount to be deposited with the tax amt
U can't file revised return
