Few days ago a seed organizer asked me to file his returns. He has his last year return document but don't know he has the bank account number that he deposited into. He don't know the login details for e-filing. I knew that i can recover that if i know the Bank Account Number and previous returns acknowledgement number. I have the ackowledgement no. but don't have the Bank account number. Is there any alternative way to get the details. or is there possible to e-file the returns without login to e-filing.

No. you cannot file return without Loging in.

What you can do is you can request for resetting of the password by writing an email to validate @ incometaxindia.gov.in providing the following details:

dear Sir/Madam,

please re-set the password and send me link for reset password for following assessee as the said assessee has change his C.A. and he is not able to re-set the passward,

please reset the passward and send link on new e-mail id as given below.

1) PAN :
2) Name :
3) Date of Birth/Date of Incorporation :
4) Father’s Name :

5) Address : (PAN REGISTERED ADDRESS)

(FILLING ADDRESS)

6)New Email :

You will receive an email for pw reset in 24 hours.

Absolutely right Mr. Kedar, Mostly taxpayer are go through from this situation. Therefor i will recomond to use on premises software for tax filing. As like :- Income Tax Software

tHE dEPT. HAS NOT made the forms available for online filing.

Now through the above softwre can I file -i.le. now itself without waiting till that day.

For E-filling of ITR You must have an Login ID & Password. Without password you can not login.

I agree with mr.kedar for recover your password You have to Request to deartment but there is an alternative way is also available.

You can also recover your password by answering secret question. Just try & you can get success.

Thanks for your reply and i would like to know one more thing i read there ITR 1 to 4 forms available for Individuals e fileing. And i want to know which form should i use for an assessee who get Commission for the Agriculure Seed Production Organization. He does neither have a company nor a partner in any company. He is individual and having a current account in his name and got loan as well. Then what is the suitable form to file his returns
