Firstly think that you have to clear IPCC in all possible circumstances.
Make your mind in such a way where you are focused to your IPCC. Once you have taken control of your mind , you can achieve anything.
See you have around 106 days for exams(till 31st October,2010). If you think you can achieve the target of completing all 7 papers by that time( target time--- 15 days per paper), go ahead with that focus mind without any diversions.
To be conservative, start with your first group and finish that first. Why i said is that if you focus first on 2nd group more in starting, there are chances you may sacrifice on first group. As you know clearing 1st group is vital so as to start your articles. So focus more on 1st group in starting.
For 1st group-- In tax cover Service tax and vat(50 marks very well). Its a small topic and you can easily get 45 if you are well versed in service tax and VAt. Next start with income tax... Like wise in law focus first on company law and then on other acts. In communication don't leave all those deeds and formats.
I don't know what books you are following, but whatever books you follow don't neglect study materials given by ICAI. You can refer some good reference books for better understanding.
Make your own concise notes so that it will be easy for you to revise. Do periodic revisions also.
One more thing give more importance to those subjects where you are good at. It will boost your total and compensate your other papers.
So just do it. Don't think too much here and there other than studying. I am sure by this you will shine in your exams..
All the best..

Focus more on at least one subject of each group or two subjects of one group and try to score plus 60 marks in these two subjects.
It will give support to make aggregate.
Even if aggregate is not there; you will get exemption in these subjects which will be helpful to you in the next attempt.
Don't worry about the result. Start your studies. If you worry about the result; the result will sure be worrying one.

If I am there at your place my target would be just 1 group. In the reason, You have less than 4 months for preparation, and in IPCC we have not just study, bur Revision also, because there are so many contents and no super student even can recover it in just single time reading, But if you are going to just CLEAR the exam this reply is not for you. I think always with professional approch and not at ALL IZZ WELL, Kya karu main idiot nahin hoon naa !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
