dear friends I had completed articles in 2001 but appeared exams in 2009 got nearly 40 marks in group 1 of ipcc, iam working as tax consultant. my query is it possible to compete c.a. now iam 36yrs

Of course possible. Age doesn't matter. I know people who have cleared it after 40. When you will clear exam, u will have lot of experience with u plus degree to start as practicing CA..all the best.!!

Not a big issue to start ur ca again. You have to register again with bos

Yes of course i appreciate your confidence

as you mentioned you are Tax Consultant, you no need to focus in Direct tax rest others to be concentrated.

Age doesn't matter..

Age don't matters,I know one person from chennai name SD bala sir,enrolled in 58years age, he completed his CA. He was visiting faculty at prime academy chennai,authored so many books. There is will there is a way. All the best
