Reason is that once u r done wid ur CA no one is bothered abt ur attempts.. So, forget abt d society, forget abt wat ppl will think... Just focus on ur 2nd grp, build the concepts n u'll make it out...

Bcoz when u hv started something, its always better to complete it..But yeah if u are really not enjoying what u are doing & have found something better to do, then of course its better to leave. So the main thing to do is ask urself some questions..
First Question:Do I really want to quit CA?
In case ur answer to 1st Q is YES then,
Second Question:Why do I want to quit CA?
a)If ur answer to Q2 is that u want to quit bcoz u feel u dont have the capacity to clear CA exams, then my suggestion would be to look around u..U urself hv mentioned that many of ur friends have easily cleared ipcc. What extra do they have..If they can do, why cant you(sorry for the little dose of motivation). So give ur best & study hard for May,2014 attempt. If u dont clear even after that, pls refer to Third Question.
b)If ur answer to Q2 is that u quit bcoz u arent actually interested in this course, pls refer to Q3.
Third Question:What are the alternatives do I have in case I decide to quit CA?
Think over what else u can do..See where ur aptitude lies.. If u find MBA an interesting option(a very conventional choice like CA), then prepare well for CAT/XAT/MAT,etc & try to get into a good management institute. U can also carry on with ICWA since u hv already cleared grp 1 of inter. Or U can try other courses like actuary or cfa based on ur aptitude(again these courses are hard to clear..so u may face the same problems here which u faced in CA). Whatever u decide. decide after giving a lot of thought. And once u hv decided, stick to that decision. One time u can make a wrong decision & rectify it but dont make it a habit. Its perfectly ok to quit CA. But what u choose next, choose wisely & then stick to it.

Also Sasikanth, pls dont say "I will fail this time" I am not trying to motivate u or give u unrealistic hopes. Am saying this purely from my experience. Many times when u hope u will get an exemption, u fail in that subject. Similarly when u think u are gonna fail, u clear with very good marks. So pls dont give up the next two exams on the assumption that u are anyway going to fail in accounts.

If you are quitting because you are not enjoying, you may quit, but before quitting find what you love..
If you are quitting thinking you will not pass CA Final, sorry, you are mad..
You are already out of confidence...
Just ask yourself the reason for failing IPCC group 2, if you think you gave 100% and then failed, then you can quit..
THE ONLY REASON FOR FAILING IN CA INTER IS NOT STUDING, EVERYTHING ELSE IS A MYTH...CAN'T COMMENT ON CA FINAL, AS I HAVENT FACED YET..I ve known of people getting 90+ in board and failed as well as people getting 60 and passed in first attempt..Hard-work is the one and only requirement in CA, irrespective if you have an IQ of 100 or 160

@ sasikanth Dont worry about attempts yaar i took 1 attempt for cpt i cleared my pcc in 5 attempt(cleared 1st group in 2nd attempt but 2nd group in 5th attempt9Fail all time just by 4-8 marks), the same question come in my mind in 4 th attempt as am i able to do CA whn i got 144 fail in aggregate(passing 150)in group 2 of pcc Even I Scored 164(passing 150) in group 1 so aggregate is +308 above 300) but next second i determine to do CA at any cost and in next attempt i cleared pcc group 2 with 65% with exemption in all 3 subject Plus Cleared My CA Final(Group 2 in 1st Ateempt and Group 1 In 3rd Attempt) in 3 Attempts Even Though I Never Done Any Class in My Whole CA Life & Today I Am CA, CS, BCOM at the age of just 23 so attempt doesnot count your caliber just study hard and sooner or latter u will get the best
