Can I claim exemption under the new LTA cash voucher scheme while filling tax returns?

Can I claim exemption under the new LTA cash voucher scheme while filling tax returns? My previous company is not allowing me to submit LTA Cash Voucher proof and claim LTA exemption after the final settlement.
