i earned LTCG in this financial year by selling my tenancy rights to the landlord. i own a residential flat where i stay. ialso own aone room residential unit in MHADA colny which i have been using as my clinic. i claim depreciation on it in my tax returns and i pay commercial rates for electricity and society charges extra for commercial use. bldg also has commercial galas adjacent tomy clinic but my unit was intially residential.
can i claim 54F exemption by buying residential property although i technically own two res properties already.
