Can form 16 be issued for 9months?

Hai Friends,

 

Can anybody please tell me that Form 16 can be issued for 9 months.

 

One of my employee is asking for Form16 of current year for home loan and insurance documentation purpose. Can i issue form 16 to him for Q1, Q2 & Q3 of FY 2011-12 now?

Yes. You can issue the Form 16 for Q1, Q2 and Q3 for F.Y 11-12.
