Dear ramesh,but as per my knowledge only restaurant services can opt for it, no clarification for caterers as they are providing more of service and less of goods... still it ll b useful if u can give reference or source of ua answer wid tax rate

dear sir, as per section 10(2) (a) he is not engaged in the supply of services othen than supplies referred tobin clause (b) of paragraph 6 of schedule II Which say, supply, by way of or as part of any service or in any manner whatsoever of goods, being food or any other article for human consumption or any drink (other than alcoholic liqour for human consumption) where such supply or service is for cash, deferred payment or other valuable consideration
