u r preparing for what final or pcc....well for any level i suggest u should attempt for both groups ,if ur preparation is good or near to good, best benefit is of adjustments in marks in d results......for 50 %

Hi Friend,
Its better to appear for the both groups, for the reason any marks more than 50% in one group will be carry forward to the other if the marks are below 50% in the other group provided the marks in all the subjects of the other group is not below 40%.
I feel it depends on ur preparation n confidence.if u have doubt in ur preparation then go for one group cos its better u achieve success step by step rather than trying for both n no success. So u r the best person to decide as u know ur strenghths n weakness, but remember there wil always be an advantage of set off in marks if u attempt both groups .
Best of luck.

I agree with Praveen...Even if u r preparing only for one group then also its always better to attempt examsof both the groups as it wud give u rough idea abt other group & if ur luck & hard work & intelligence favouring u, then u may clear both the groups....I dont see any disadvantag in giving both groups together..only u just have to put ur extra efforts & have to pass through a little more tension...
Wish u all the best

now d pattern has changed u get 2 know beforehand wen ur final exam is due based on ur articleship period
in dis scenario together wid articleship i think giving it group wise is more sensible..as u will b in touch wid studies 4 longertime
& d stronger ur pcc or ipcc it will also help in final..

HI Rashmi
I think you should opt for both groups, the benifit is the Set-Off you can claim for the aggregate of 50%.
The only concern would be time mangement.

i wish to suggest to appear in both groups whether u r in ipcc or in ca final but make a strategy like 90% preparation on single group and 75% in the other group. i also apply this technique for ca final exams and got cleared both groups

i think there should effect on marking criteria for both gruop students, favour of passing is higher in comparison to clear a single group
