Can a Science Student apply For CA Course?

yes he can apply for CPT.

What are the procedures brother.

When the exams are held? What type of questions are set in CPT as he doesnt have any knowledge about COmmerce.

Since he live in Assam how will he register or if registered then the exams?

CPT exams are held during the months of june and december.twice a year. it is an objective type exam in which a candidate has to score a minimum of 100 marks out of 200 to clear.to get a clear idea. ask him to regfer the icai site of the institutes prospectus

He has to purchase the prospectus,right?

yes..he has to get it from a near by registered office of icai

OK answer the following queries plz:

1: Where can he get the Registration Form for CA Course? Online or he has to get one from Kolkata Institute. Can he get one in Assam itself?

2: Will he have to register only after his 12's results are declared? (BTW it will be in May)

he can get the registration form from net... or in any chapter... 12th results are not necessary 4 registration.. but 4 exam application, the results are must... he can write his exam in dec-09...
