A client of mine who could sign previously was unable to sign now due to old age and paralysis attack.
now he is required to file return on his rental income.
Is thumb impression allowed in ITR-V and what procedures should be followed for filing the return.

Thumb impression is a valid method of signing.
Hence you can send the ITR V by signing in Thumb Impression.
