Has everyone who had registered in the Campus Placement Aug -Sept 12 been shortlisted??

The people who havnt been successful....what do they do next????

Does this mean attending the Orientation is useless!!!

Please comment!!!

I m shortlisted by Evolutionary Systems Private Ltd. in Ahmedabad but job profile is as under.....

Study the current business processes
Mapping industry trends and best practices to the clients unique requirements..
GAP Analysis and re-engineering the processes.
Design & implement Oracle ERP as per the client’s requirements

Candidate must have an interest to pursue career in IT consulting industry

NOT INTERESTED AT ALL.............

I think its waste of money.... mostly they selected 1st attempt students. i cleared in 3rd attempt so i am surprised why they have shortlisted me.

I am a CA student, i have a question,"whether graduation percentage is mandatory for being shortlisted in campus placement though if the student clear CA in first attempt?" Reply expected..

I havent been shortlisted yet..! :( Isnt there a second round of shortlisting? I have the same doubts? What next? People who have attended Campus before please share your experiences.

about only 20% students are shortlisted by the companies and among them only 5% students got the job... Don't depend on the campus. go for the offline campus ..

What's an Offline Campus? Do we need to attend orientation for that?

No Priya.. I mean to say u have to search jobs on internet and by your references. Whereever is any requirement of CA, u should post ur cv to them.. You can also send the CV on voluntary basis to the big 4 and others by visiting their website..

Ohkay..!! Ya..I have applied to many places Sourabh..!! No response yet.. I don't have any reference as of now..! Did you attend Insti's Campus before? Do share your experience..So if i am not shortlisted, there is no use attending orienation ?

Dont depend upon the campus and the sametime dont get disheartened if your not shortlisted.

Campus is for the first attempt and rank holders and due to the existing global recessions and economic condition company's dont want to go for a higher salary jobs and hence you can see few companies lining up for campus.

So search off campus or get associated with a CA firm which gives a variety of exposures.

There is a second list of shorlisting and those who have not been shortlisted for the first round would get an opportunity!!!

All the best and start searching off campus!!! and attend few interviews to get a feel of interviews!!!

Orientation programme is held before the shortlisting. So you have to attend it because it is compulsory if u have been shortlisted by any company. Don't be demotivated. Just I want to say that please don't depend upon the campus if you have passed ur ca final exams in 2nd attempt. Just try for the off campus..

I have shortlised by 2 companies in delhi but could not selected by them. Selected by Genpact in jaipur campus but I have left their offer.

So best wishes to you for your job..

Thank you so much..!! I have cleared in the First attempt so i was expecting to get shortlisted by Campus..! It is a bit disheartening..!! But im not demotvated...!! I'll search off campus..!! Thanks a lot for helping..!

If you have passed in the first attempt then u can expect shortlisting in campus. Which centres u have choosed for the campus and what is the last date for the shortlisting??

Till now, any company shortlisted u or not??.

I chose Mumbai centre.. Chose " Finance" and " Financial Management" as preferred career option in the registration form.. Haven't been shortlisted yet.. :(
