Is Company (amendments) act 2008 applicable for May 2009 exam.

Hi!

I dont think so.

All amendments made upto 6 months before the exams are applicable to exams.

And in case of May all amendment made upto Oct 31 are applicable.

As per my knowledge the said act has not been passed parliament, so not applicable.

Ya kunal is right. Any change made before 6 montrhs of the exam is applicable to that exam. Any change made within 6 months of rthe exam is not applicable to that exam.

I have heard only about The Companies (Amendment) Bill 2008 which states:

The registration of companies (amendment) bill, 2008, (bill no. 30 of 2008), says "no companies shall be registered unless it has in the board of directors at least 50 per cent directors having sikkim subject certificate or certificate of identification."

I know that companies Bill 2008 has been introduced.

I have not heard of Companies (Amendment) Act 2008. Please give details.
